You can start your exam preparation with basics. Just start reading GCERT or NCERT textbooks, Basic GK book and standard newspaper.

In simple words, Current Affairs is news around you, your state, your country and the world (ONLY IMPORTANT NEWS, not unnecessary news i.e. accidents, loot, murder etc.).
Just start reading any good newspaper, that’s it. As a serious candidate, you should at least two or three newspapers with standard current affairs magazine.
There are hundreds of current affairs magazine in market. Most of them are not very useful so be careful while selecting current affairs magazine for your preparation. You should read standard newspapers and make your own notes, don’t depend on any magazine. Download our app for daily current affairs.
Exam notes are not same for all person. You should make your own notes which contain important facts. Keep in your mind that notes should short instead of lengthy stories. Only write important facts which you cannot remember.
